event concept and marketing
I am a board member and Past President of the Dayton chapter of AAF-Dayton and Chair of the Education Committee. The board is working toward bringing in younger members and is developing programming that they will connect with.
I developed a concept for an event targeted to college advertising and graphic design majors that was centered around a panel discussion. It was titled, "Diverging Paths". The panel included three highly regarded experts in the industry who spoke to the students about their own personal career paths and provided tips and guidance. I sourced the speakers, developed the theme, brand, environmental signage, web graphics and digital ads and managed all aspects of the event.

The event was sold out with students attending from four area colleges.
